About the symposium

The Indigenous Hearing Health symposium will feature presentations by Professor Amanda Leach (Menzies School of Health Research), Dr Liesa Clague (Macquarie University) and Samantha Harkus (Australian Hearing).

The symposium will present perspectives on current issues in public health planning and implementation, Indigenous hearing health research, education and service delivery.

Bringing together policy makers, researchers, clinicians, educators and service providers to build knowledge and awareness, we aim to identify the challenges and work towards potential solutions that can lead to better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
