Disability Support Pension (DSP) – Urgent review needed
We are calling for an urgent review into the fairness of the Disability Support Pension (DSP) and call for changes to make sure that the eligibility process is fair, reasonable and accessible for people with disability.
We will be holding an event later this morning in Canberra to officially launch our three Reports on the Disability Support Pension. The Reports will be available on our website later today following the official Launch.
Research launch to highlight need for urgent review into the Disability Support Pension
Disability advocates and researchers will call for urgent reforms to the Disability Support Pension (DSP), with the launch this morning of three new reports into the the economic and health impacts of disability, particularly for Indigenous Australians.
The launch will outline the report findings and include panel discussion by research teams and people with disability speaking about their experiences of the DSP.
