Inclusion Australia has today sent a letter to the Prime Minister and Health Minister requesting that the opt out deadline for My Health Record be extended. We are asking the government to fund a campaign which
- Ensures that people with intellectual disability are aware of how to setup and control their My Health Record
- Improves the accessibility of the My Health Record website
- Prepares and distributes Easy to Read information
- Provides families with clear guidelines on what they should do to arrange an authorised representative for individuals over the age of 18 if they are not able to manage their own My Health Record.
